  • Communications — messages you send us, such as customer service enquiries and return requests.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have agreed to receive marketing emails or text messages from us.

How we use your information and our lawful bases

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we use your information on the following lawful bases:

  • Analytics and advertising partners such as Google, Meta and Microsoft, as described below;
  • Authorities or professional advisers, where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Analytics and advertising

With your consent, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, Google Analytics) and to show you relevant ads on other websites and social media. We may share information about your use of the Site and your purchases with advertising partners for this purpose. We also use Shopify Audiences, which may use information about your purchases and the email address linked to them to help show you relevant ads.

How long we keep your information

  • Order and transaction records — 6 years from the end of the financial year of the purchase, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
  • Account information — for as long as your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • Marketing data — until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
  • Customer service messages — up to 2 years after your enquiry is resolved.
  • Cookie data — for the periods set out in our cookie settings.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you based solely on automated processing. Shopify uses limited automated checks to help prevent fraud, such as temporarily blocking IP addresses or cards linked to repeated failed transactions; these do not have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information, including for direct marketing;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
